CHILDREN'S AID

Scotia Capital Stay in School Awards

The Scotia Capital Stay in School Awards is a program that recognizes youth for their efforts and achievements in the current school year. The cash is provided by Scotia Capital through a grant from the Children's Aid Foundation of Toronto.

The Champions For Children Foundation administers the fund in Ottawa. In 2008, 61 students received Stay in School awards, 18 received Grade 12 graduation awards and 11 received Grade 8 graduation awards.

We encourage these youth to use the money for post secondary education or for the purchase of items of educational value.
